Even before she became a Realtor®, Joelle Robin Jackson learned real estate in a very hands-on way. She watched intently as her grandmother generated wealth by flipping a condo, then helped her parents build a home from the ground up — and she ran the electrical wiring throughout the house.
Being a real estate professional harnesses abilities that come naturally to Joelle. Growing up in a family with five sisters and one brother made her a master negotiator. As a restaurant manager with a staff of more than 30 people, she learned the importance of organization, personal relationships, and stress reduction. Being certified as a paralegal and having handled probate sales speaks to her expertise in the documentation that accompanies any real estate transaction.
She sees real estate from all angles, having worked in property management, investment sales, and residential properties, as well as organizing and structuring efforts to prevent homelessness. For her, it’s all about helping people and the belief that everyone — first-time buyers, sellers, and investors — has the potential for growth. She’s glad to help them every step of the way.
Giving back, Joelle is a community liaison for the Fresno Black Girl Magic Project, which promotes creativity, openness, and a positive self-image for young women. She’s also a part of The Alphas, a female entrepreneur group. In her spare time, she likes to garden, do sculpting, and look after her all-black French dog, T’Challa, named after the character in the movie “Black Panther.”
