High-speed crash kills driver

A 31-year-old Tucson man was killed early Friday in a single-vehicle crash that officials say was related to alcohol and excessive speeding.
Robert Ybarra Felix was driving at about 100 mph eastbound on East Aviation Parkway near East Technical Drive, near South Alvernon Way, when he failed to maneuver a turn, said Sgt. James G. Ogden, a spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The vehicle went through some trees and spun across the roadway, authorities said.
